On May 6 and June 24, 2017, the Central Large Cattle Breeding Center held a Workshop: "Application of high technology in breeding and development of Vietnamese buffalo and cow husbandry" at Moncada Frozen Sperm Research and Production Station - Tan Linh, Ba Vi, Hanoi aims to bring high-tech applications in breeding and development of cattle breeding and production.

Attending the conference were: Dr. Hoang Thanh Van - Director of the Department of Livestock Production, Dr. Nguyen Thanh Son - Director of the Institute of Livestock Production, Dr. Ha Thuy Hanh - Deputy Director of the National Center for Agricultural Extension and leaders of the Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development, units directly in charge of developing large cattle breeding of 40 southern provinces and cities, Central and Central Highlands.

Through the workshop, the delegation was introduced to the history of the establishment and history of Moncada Station as well as of the Central Large Cattle Breeding Center. With the assigned mission and inherent experience, the Central Large Cattle Breeding Center always meets the demand for high quality frozen beef semen, greatly contributing to the improvement and development of beef and dairy cattle breeding.
