VIETSTOCK’S SERIES OF LIVESTOCK AND AQUACULTURE ROADSHOWS STELLAR SUCCESS LEADING LIVESTOCK INNOVATION

The cornerstone of livestock industry development

Before the exhibition, Vietstock and Aquaculture Vietnam organised a series of livestock and aquaculture roadshows aimed at providing a platform for households and farms in key livestock provinces to learn about the latest farming and aquaculture techniques from industry experts.

These roadshows also offered businesses opportunities to connect directly with farmers and introduce innovative solutions and technologies.

The Vietstock's series livestock and aquaculture roadshow has truly become a platform for sharing knowledge and addressing pressing issues in livestock and aquaculture. 05 roadshows covering diverse topics were presented by 30 industry experts, attracting 1750 specialised attendees who engaged in discussions, learning, and seeking cooperation opportunities. Additionally, 35 businesses showcasing advanced products and technologies to assist farmers and farms in their livestock activities.

Sustainable swine farming in Thai Nguyen

Supported by the Animal Husbandry Association of Vietnam, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development in Thai Nguyen Province, Animal Health Expert – Vet24 Academy and IAES, and Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry, the swine roadshow focused on the theme "Improving feeding strategy and farm management towards to sustainability in swine production". Disease prevention in broiler farming in Tay Ninh

At the broiler roadshow in Tay Ninh, Vietstock, together with experts and advisors from the Animal Husbandry Association of Vietnam and the Tay Ninh Sub-Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary to present the topic "Control and Prevention of Disease in Broiler Farms," and shared in-depth content and practical solutions drew 350 participants.

Enhance the productivity of swine farming in Dong Nai

Vietstock continues to accompany the Animal Husbandry Association in Vietnam and the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development in Dong Nai Province, Vietstock to successfully organise a swine farming seminar on the theme "Enhance swine performance through improved farm management and nutrient utilization". The roadshow featured professional knowledge from leading experts and consultants from the Southern Institute of Animal Husbandry – Vietnam Institute of Animal Husbandry and Nong Lam University and garnered significant interest from 300 attendees.

Raising layers at optimal cost in Tien Giang

Continuing its success, the layer roadshow in Tien Giang received support from the Animal Husbandry Association in Vietnam, the Subdepartment of Livestock Production & Animal Health in Tien Giang, and Can Tho University, shared and discussed the theme “The road to cost-efficient and sustainable layer production". The layer roadshow was well-received by over 400 specialised participants.

Sustainable aquaculture development in Tien Giang

In Tien Giang, a specialised aquaculture roadshow took place with the support of the Vietnam Fisheries Society (VINAFIS) and the International Collaborating Centre for Aquaculture and Fisheries Sustainability (ICAFIS). With the theme "Sustainable Development of Aquaculture In The Context Of Climate Change", the seminar brought together experts from Can Tho University, the Research Institute for Aquaculture No.2, and more than 400 farmers to discuss at the aquaculture roadshow.

Vietstock Expo & Forum 2024 and Aquaculture Vietnam 2024 are set to surpass previous editions with an extensive 15,000 m² exhibition area. With over 400 exhibitors and 13,000 attendees from 50 countries and regions, this event is shaping up to be extraordinary.

The exhibition will host a variety of programs and activities designed to promote sustainable development within the livestock and aquaculture industries. A new highlight, the Biosecurity Asia Forum, will focus on orientations, methods, and implementation strategies for biosecurity, which is a core value for sustainable development in the livestock industry.
