Explore the conferences and technical seminars – Vietstock 2024 & Aquaculture Vietnam 2024

03/10/2024 | 7:47

The conferences and technical seminars are part of Vietstock & Aquaculture Vietnam 2024, providing sustainable solutions to the urgent challenges confronting Vietnam’s livestock and aquaculture sectors.

Transforming livestock and aquaculture for a sustainable tomorrow

Livestock and aquaculture are key pillars of Vietnam’s economy, with significant growth potential. However, climate change and resource depletion are increasing pressure on traditional farming models.

Currently, the industry faces numerous challenges, including increasing disease outbreaks; small-scale production with outdated technology; the difficulty in meeting the strict international quality standards; a heavy reliance on imported feed; etc.

Furthermore, traditional livestock and aquaculture practices are significantly contributing to greenhouse gas emissions in Vietnam. Therefore, a shift towards sustainable farming is necessary for the industry’s long-term growth.

With the theme ‘Livestock Transformation for Better Production, Nutrition, Environment and Life’, Vietstock 2024 and Aquaculture Vietnam 2024 will host a series of conferences and technical seminars, addressing the most pressing challenges facing the industry.

Unveiling innovative solutions to transform livestock and aquaculture industry

The conferences and technical seminars will be held throughout the 3-day exhibition of Vietstock and Aquaculture Vietnam 2024, from October 9 – 11, 2024, at 799 Nguyen Van Linh Street, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Leading experts will share comprehensive, scientifically sound, practical, and economically viable measures that farmers and businesses can easily apply to their production models.

On October 10, 2024, the Biosecurity Asia Forum will focus on ‘Building A Strong Biosecurity Culture’. The conference will concentrate on sharing practical solutions to help farmers and businesses proactively prevent diseases, and apply sustainable biosafety production models.
