Activities of Vietnam Large Cattle Breeding Association in April 2016

In April 2016, experts from Vietnam Large Cattle Breeding Association cooperated with Asia Pacific Dairy Company to advise and assist TH True Milk Dairy Joint Stock Company and Sexing Technology Company. (ST) of the US to implement embryo transfer technology for dairy cows phase II/2016. Phase I took place in December 2015 - January 2016 with very successful results, implanted 285 embryos, including 245 imported frozen embryos, 40 made in Vietnam for TH Milk's cows. in Nghia Dan. This is an important activity that helps to accelerate genetic progress and improve the efficiency of dairy farming.

During the second phase, the Expert performed the following contents:

• Transfer training of some specific pieces of technology on cows.
• Embryo washing for 8 cows for embryos. As a result, the number of embryos obtained was 64, of which 60 embryos met the standards for use, 37 embryos were implanted for Japanese cows and 23 embryos were frozen.
• Transplanted frozen embryos for 241 recipient cows.
• Summarize and distribute certificates to 3 students of the 1st batch who have not been received
