Vietnam’s large livestock industry actively integrates into ASEAN and TPP

The seminar attracted the attention of a large number of state management agencies, businesses operating in the livestock industry at home and abroad, scientists, and farm owners.

Topics discussed in the workshop were: Sustainable development of beef and dairy cattle production in the context of ASEAN and TPP integration; Overview of policies to develop dairy farming in some Asian countries; Some issues need to be researched on policies on nutrition, feed, breed, slaughter and environment in the development of high-tech industrial beef production in the context of integration; Solutions to improve the health of dairy cows and increase livestock profits…

 

Speaking at the seminar, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hoang Kim Giao, Chairman of the Vietnam Large Cattle Breeding Association said: The large cattle breeding industry in Vietnam has many advantages for development. However, the products of large cattle supplied to Vietnamese people are still lacking. Therefore, the goal of the Vietnam Large Cattle Breeding Association is to raise a number of issues for the Workshop to recognize, discuss and find the right direction for themselves, for their own businesses, for the livestock industry to contribute more to the practice and can stand firm and compete in integration.
