Avian Influenza:The recent outbreak of Avian Influenza occurred mainly in poultry flocks raised in a few households, which had not been vaccinated against avian influenza and had not been vaccinated. promptly detected and handled by the locality, so there is no spreading phenomenon; So far, the outbreaks have been basically controlled.

However, at present, due to the complicated changes of weather, the risk of epidemic arising and spreading is very high, localities need to be proactive in the prevention and control of highly pathogenic avian influenza H5N1, H5N6 and some strains of influenza viruses that can be transmitted to humans, such as the H7N9 virus; strengthen control and strictly handle the illegal import of poultry, closely monitor the area to detect and handle outbreaks in a timely manner.

FMD translation: In recent times, FMD outbreaks have occurred mainly in small numbers. The risk of pathogens spreading and spreading epidemics in the regions is very high. Localities in high-risk areas, where there are old outbreaks, and cattle herds that have not been thoroughly vaccinated, especially provinces with projects to supply cattle breeds and reduce poverty, need to strengthen monitoring. Monitoring, early detection of outbreaks, organization of FMD vaccination, strict control of livestock transportation, management of livestock slaughter to minimize the risk of arising and spreading epidemics.

Localities based on the epidemic situation in the area, the announcement of the Department of Animal Health on the circulation of avian influenza virus strains, foot-and-mouth disease, blue ear and guidelines for use of vaccines in 2016 Version No. 153/TY-DT dated January 25, 2016) to organize the purchase of the right vaccine against the epidemic to achieve the highest effectiveness.
